PURPOSE: An optical sensor having a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit including a prism is provided to easily detect a light refracted by a first refracting surface even though a light receiving part is installed at various positions and angles with respect to a light transmission member. CONSTITUTION: An optical sensor(100) comprises a transparent light transmission member(10), a light emitting unit, a first refraction plane(121), and a light receiving unit(30). The transparent light transmission member comprises a front surface(111), rear surface(112), and thin rim surfaces(122,132). The light emitting unit is arranged near the rim surface of one side of the light transmission member. The light emitting unit irradiates the lights. The first refraction plane refracts the lights irradiates into inside the transmission member. The light receiving unit is arranged near to the rim surface of the other side. The light receiving unit detect the light refracted by the first retraction plane. |
