PURPOSE: A sealing member for an auto transmission is provided to prevent damage against pressing on the sealing member because flexible grooves are formed on the upper and lower circumferences of a main body. CONSTITUTION: A sealing member(50) comprises a main body(52) which is provided in a frictional region and prevents the loss of working fluid and flexible grooves(54) which are formed in parts of the main body to allow self transformation and restoration of the main body by interferences with contact surfaces.
