<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pole enabling a worker to confirm the ground height of an expected installation position of a communication line and the separation distance from a pole transformer without using a separation measuring pole. <P>SOLUTION: A representative electric pole of the present invention is an electric pole to which a communication line is to be installed under a pole transformer having: a transformer reference mark indicating a reference position of the bottom of a pole transformer; a communication line reference mark indicating a reference position of a communication line; and an embedding reference mark indicating a reference position of an embedding depth.
