<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculation treatment method for high concentration silica-containing water having high flocculation effect even for water having a high silica concentration, capable of generating large flocks, capable of reliably removing a substance to be treated included in the high concentration silica-containing water, and capable of obtaining treated water of a quality suitable for drinking without impairing taste of the treated water. <P>SOLUTION: The flocculation treatment method performs flocculation treatment of a substance to be treated included in high concentration silica-containing water by adding polyaluminum chloride aqueous solution to the high concentration silica-containing water. The polyaluminum chloride aqueous solution aged for a specific time or more after the preparation and having an equivalent concentration of 0.5 wt.% in terms of aluminum oxide is used as the polyaluminum chloride aqueous solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
