<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and a method that can realize reliable communication with little interruption of a communication path in a communication system in which multiple nodes belonging to a network controlled by a control station redundantly transmit data. <P>SOLUTION: Multiple control stations control respective different networks and multiple nodes belonging to each network redundantly transmit data. A control station calculates the number of communication paths in which quality of a communication link between nodes belonging to a network is equal to or better than a threshold value as the number of effective paths of each node belonging to each network, and determines whether or not the calculated number of effective paths of each node of each network is equal to or larger than a predetermined redundancy. Then, if there is a node which has been determined that the number of effective path is smaller than a predetermined redundancy, the control station moves the node from the network where the node exists to another network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
