<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable and a cable unit capable of preventing reverse insertion without increasing costs and production processes. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable 4 is composed of straight angle conductors 41 and a pair of insulation sheets 42,43 sandwiching the conductors 41 therebetween. The insulation sheet 42 is removed in the station of the flat cable 4 so that the plural conductors 41 are exposed, and when the station of the flat cable 4 is inserted into a housing 31 of a mating's connector 3, terminals 32 held in the housing 31 of the connector 3 and the exposed conductors 41 are connected. A pair of protrusions 53, 54 each formed so as to project toward the connector 3 are installed in the insulation sheet 43, and the pair of protrusions 53, 54 are formed in mutually different shapes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
