<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle engine which regulates engine output while preventing a vehicle from falling into a shock, when the vehicle using a mechanical throttle valve falls into a simultaneous pressing state unintentionally, and to provide a control device for a transmission. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle engine includes, on the assumption of being applied to a vehicle equipped with a multi-cylinder engine, an automatic transmission and a mechanical throttle valve: a determining means S10 for determining whether the vehicle is in a simultaneous pressing state where both an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal are pressed; and an output regulating means S20 which causes a misfire by prohibiting fuel injection during fuel ignition in a predetermined cylinder of the multi-cylinder engine to regulate engine output, while pressing the brake pedal in preference to the accelerator pedal when the vehicle is determined to be in the simultaneous pressing state. The automatic transmission is set to neutral (S40) at the time of misfire during ignition in a predetermined cylinder by means of the output regulating means S20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
