<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving unit capable of easily cooling an engine (E) and easily removing dust adhering to a dustproof net (8a), and capable of preventing overheat of the engine (E) to increase work efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The driving unit includes: a radiator (7) disposed on an outside of an engine (E); a dustproof cover (8) having a dustproof net (8a) disposed on an outside of the radiator (7); a fan (9) disposed between the radiator (7) and the engine (E); and a hydrostatic continuously variable transmission (10) that drives the fan (9) in normal rotation and reverse rotation. Cooling air to cool the radiator (7) is sucked by normal rotation driving of the fan (9) by the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission (10), and dustproofing air to remove dust adhering to the dustproof net (8a) is blown by reverse rotation driving of the fan (9) by the hydrostatic continuously variable transmission (10).
