The device has a housing (2) whose driving input shaft (3) transmits movement to an output shaft (4). The input shaft bears a rotary control unit (10) controlling the movement of a receiving pulley (6) along the input shaft towards or away from a rotating component (9) so that the pulley freely mounted in rotation on the input shaft, is moved from a disengaged position into an engaged position. The pulley has a belt receiving groove (11) with constant preset width for maintaining the belt tension as the pulley moves along the input shaft when the belt is taut inside the groove. The rotary control unit adopts the shape of a sleeve. |
