Rotor for a turbo engine comprising sealing and damping elements

The rotor has rotating blades (12) which are joined to basic rotor case (14), and damping element (24) for damping blade vibration is placed between blade platforms (10) of two adjacent rotating blades. The damping element is arched radially upward along the axial extent relative to axis of rotation of the rotor. A sealing element (26) is placed between at least two adjacent rotating blades with the sealing element that is located radially above damping element by the exchange of flow medium in the radial direction between adjacent rotating blades. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing, repairing or overhauling rotor for turbo machine.
