<p>A fastener 100 for a bin has a portion for attaching to the bin and a breakable portion to indicate if unauthorised access has been attempted. Ideally the attachment portions are in the form of flaps 110, 152, 154 which are longer or wider than the slot in which the fastener is received. The slot is preferably in the lid of the bin. The device may prevent unauthorised access. The device can be used to demonstrate that there are no confidential documents in a bin; eg with the text: checked and sealed. The fastener is preferably made from folded paper, card or plastic.</p> |
