<p>The method involves removing a booster pump from a canister of a plate. An outer casing of the canister is provided with a base that is pressed in a leak tight manner against the plate. A fluid connector (50) is inserted to take place of the pump. The fluid connector is co-operated with the canister by actuating a movable member of the canister to open a through-orifice of the base to proceed with draining a tank via the fluid connector. The fluid connector is connected to a valve (42). The valve is opened after the fluid connector is inserted to take the place of the pump. An independent claim is also included for a device for quickly draining a tank, comprising a plate.</p> |
