摘要 The method involves emitting a measurement signal. Multiple reflections of the measuring signal are received by multiple ultrasonic sensors (202, 203). Direction of an object (212) is determined by a triangulation computation based on the received reflections, where the ultrasonic sensors work based on an individual clock generator, and measurement is in accordance with a given time schema that is common for the ultrasonic sensors. The common time schema provides common time frame for the measurement of the reflections. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a set of instructions to perform a method for determining distance and direction of an object around a vehicle in a vehicle environment for parking the vehicle by utilizing a parking assistance system (2) a park assistance system comprising multiple ultrasonic sensors to receive multiple reflection of the measurement signal.
