LUMINOUS ELEMENT DRIVER IC AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A light emitting device driving integrated circuit and an operation method thereof are provided to improve efficiency of a light-emitting device drive circuit for a vehicle and to reduce size of the light-emitting device drive circuit for the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A DC/DC switching converter(210) receives direct current voltage from a battery of a vehicle. The DC/DC switching converter changes the direct current voltage into driving voltage for driving a plurality of light emitting devices(260). A linear driver(220) applies a constant current to the plurality of light emitting device. An MCU(Machine Control Unit)(230) controls drive of the plurality of light emitting devices. The MCU comprises a memory(231), a timer(232), and a logic unit(233). A temperature measuring unit(251) measures temperature of the plurality of light emitting devices.
