A control pedal 13 is connected with a pivoted link 12 which is jointed at its other end to an arm 11 of an actuating member 10 pivotable between carrier plates 9 of a support bracket 1 fixed by clamps 4 to the steering column 3. A spring retracted plunger 16, see also Fig. 2 (not shown), controlled by a lock may be manually projected through one of the recesses 10 x to hold the pedal in a fixed position. Two pedals may be coupled to the same actuating member or each pedal may have its own quadrant 10 lockable by a common lock. In a modification the member 10 may be a linearly movable bar connected directly to the pedal and working through a slot in the bracket 1 and having a recess or recesses for engagement by the plunger 16. |
