<p>The device (10) has a multifunction button (12) for controlling remote functions on a vehicle (20). A transmitter (17) transmits a control signal (TX DATA RK) of one of the remote functions, and a receiver (18) receives an acknowledgment signal (TX DATA UC) indicating the execution of the function. A multicolored LED (13) indicates reception of the acknowledgment signal. The transmitter and receiver are of duplex type and provided between the device and the vehicle, and use a single transmission channel for frequency shift modulation of control and acknowledgment signals.
