<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting rope lateral swing of an elevator capable of detecting the lateral swing of the rope by a rope lateral swing detection switch formed very inexpensively even when a building quakes by earthquake motion of a long-period earthquake and the lateral swing of the rope occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A car side rope lateral swing detection switch 1 detects the lateral swing of the rope by the long-period earthquake and wind by mounting a pressure detection switch 2 on an outer side surface of the car, wherein the pressure detection switch 2 includes conductors 4, 5 inside and outputs a signal when the switch 2 is pressed by a predetermined pressure, and the conductors make contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
