<p>The switch (9) has two anti-parallely connected thyristors (12, 13) with respective ignition devices (14, 15) and auxiliary power sources (18, 19). Each auxiliary power source includes an anode connected to a positive terminal of the associated thyristor, and a cathode connected to a negative terminal of the associated thyristor. Each auxiliary power source is controlled such that a current equal to or greater than a holding current of the thyristor is generated. The ignition devices and the auxiliary power sources of the thyristors are supplied with direct current power supplies (16, 17).</p> |
