A collector (2) has fins provided at an absorbent surface. The solar heat absorbed at absorbent surface, is discharged to a battery (5) connected to collector. The heat transfer medium from collector is passed to battery over a connecting channel (1). Connecting channel and a thermal insulation portion (4) of battery are dimensioned, to satisfy an expression relating thermal resistances of connecting channel, battery, stagnation temperature of collector and ambient temperature of battery. The battery pipe is made of constant temperature plastic, ceramic and glass.
