PURPOSE: A grease injection apparatus of an axle bearing for a railway vehicle is provided to reduce working hours by injecting a fixed amount of grease at fixed pressure to two axle bearings of an axle journal unit. CONSTITUTION: A grease injection apparatus of an axle bearing for a railway vehicle comprises a grease filling hydraulic cylinder(13), a slide(12), a grease supply container(14), a grease pressing plate(17), and an air discharge valve(19). When the slide is moved backward by the grease filling hydraulic cylinder, the grease supply container installed on the top of the slide is moved to the rear side of an upper frame(21) so that the top of the grease supply container is opened completely and grease(14a) can be easily injected into the grease supply container. The air discharge valve is opened and the grease pressing plate is press-fitted to completely remove air mixed into the grease during filling of the grease, and the air discharge valve is closed in order to supply pure grease.
