3-DIMENSION DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING DEPTH OF 3D IMAGE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A three dimensional display apparatus and three dimensional image depth extraction method thereof are provided to offer improved three dimensional effects to a user by extracting the depth of a three dimensional image. CONSTITUTION: An image input unit(110) receives the input signal of an image. A three dimensional image creation unit(120) creates a three dimensional image by using a depth value calculated by a motion between a global motion and a local motion in the inputted image. An image displaying unit(130) displays the three dimensional image. A depth map of the three dimensional image is created by mixing motion depth with basic depth.
