PURPOSE: A spiro compound is provided to have excellent quantum efficiency together with excellent thermal stability and membrane stability, in case of using for a hole transport material of an organic electroluminescent device, a dopant material of a light-emitting layer, a host material of a light-emitting layer, an electron transport material, a host of fluorescent material, a fluorescent device and a phosphorescent device. CONSTITUTION: A spiro compound is in chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R^1-R^6 are same or different, and can't be hydrogen altogether, at least one of R^1-R^6 is one of functional groups in chemical formula 1-a, 1-b, 1-c, and a-d, and residue of R^1-R^6 is respectively a C1-9 alkyl group, a C6-30 aryl group, or a C5-30 heteroaryl, or at least one of R^1-R^6 is able to form a carbon-conjugated aromatic cycle or a heteroaromatic cycle by combining with carbon in adjacent benzene ring. R^7-R^9 is respectively hydrogen or a C1-9 alkyl group.
