<p>The roll or pad form reinforcement tape (1) comprises a ribbon-shaped support (2) formed of two layers of flexible material, reinforcement elements (5) arranged on the support, and a film (4) that is made of pressure sensitive adhesive material and is applied on a face of the support. The reinforcement elements are adapted to stiffen the support transversely, are flexible rod-shaped arranged transversely to the support and spaced from each other, and are disposed between the two layers of flexible material. The flexible material is a textile material or a plastic film and/or elastic.
