The container has a cap seat (9) which is arranged at the upper end of a container portion (15). The cap edge (19) of the cap (2) is arranged at 180 [deg] in order to sealingly close the container portion. The cap edge has a flexible lip (20) with a projection (18) pointing to the wall of the container portion, for fixation of cap of cap seat engaged below. A plastic seal (10) made from a soft-elastic plastic component is arranged between the cap seat and cap edge, to allow cushioned pressing of cap on the container or cushioned pressing of cap edge on the cap seat. An independent claim is included for method for manufacturing cap for container.
