FLOW VECTOR CONTROL FOR HIGH SPEED CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

PURPOSE: A flow vector regulator for a high-speed centrifugal pump is provided to assist guide of flow along a feature portion by forming a curve in the upper part of the feature portion. CONSTITUTION: An impeller(26) for a centrifugal pump comprises a radial inner hub(37), a plurality of blades(36), and a flow control feature portion(32). The plurality of blades is straightly extended in a direction vertical to a rotational axis(X). The flow control feature portion is extended from a radial inner end part of the blades to the hub and comprises a curved upper surface. The blades are extended from a radial outer end part to the radial inner end part.
