METHOD OF PROVIDING NEIGHBOR INFORMATION AND METHOD OF GENERATING NEIGHBOR LOCATION INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method for providing neighbor information and neighbor location information is provided to reduce the power and time for performing neighbor scan which is performed by a moving station. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station) or an RS(Relay Station) transmits location request message to neighbor nodes(S1310). The base station or the relay station receives location response message which is transmitted from neighbor nodes by the response of the location request message(S1320). The base station or the relay station configures neighbor location information table using the response message(S1330).
