COMPOSITION FOR PROMOTING PLANT GROWTH COMPRISING IDS GENE

PURPOSE: A composition containing IDS genes is provided to enhance content of chlorophyll and carotenoid. CONSTITUTION: A composition for promoting plant growth contains IDS genes. The composition also contains transformation vector having a promoter, or microorganism transformed by the vector. The microorganism is Agrobacterium tumefaciens. The IDS gene is derived from Arabidopsis thaliana, Ginkgo biloba, Pinus taeda, or E.coli. The IDS gene is denoted by a base sequence of sequence number 1 or 2. A method for promoting plant growth comprises a step of introducing IDS genes and the promoter into a plant.
