PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for automatically transmitting a call ending message are provided to automatically end a call according to a sound signal which is inputted through a microphone. CONSTITUTION: A sound input unit(120) inputs a sound signal every preset period. A signal processing unit(125) compares the inputted sound signal with a predetermined threshold. A controlling unit(150) determines whether to end a call according to a comparison result. A message transmitting unit(140) generates a guide message according to the control of the controlling unit.
