PURPOSE: An active roll stabilizing device is provided to improve driving safety and minimize a valve unit through controlling a unified safety valve for the actuators of a front wheel and a rear wheel. CONSTITUTION: An active roll stabilizing device comprises front wheel and rear wheel actuators(3,4), a valve unit(5), a hydraulic pump(7), and a hydraulic pressure source(9). The front wheel and rear wheel actuators controls the roll of a car. The valve unit controls the front wheel and rear wheel actuators according to a control unit. An oil pressure source supplies working fluid to the actuators and receives the working fluid returned from the actuators. The valve unit comprises a direction control valve(21), a safety valve(23), and front wheel and rear wheel proportional control valves(25,26). The direction control valve controls the direction of working fluid. The safety valve shuts down the supply of the working fluid and restores the shut working fluid into the oil pressure source. The front wheel and rear wheel proportional control valves controls the amount of the working fluid supplied to the front wheel and rear wheel actuators. |
