PURPOSE: An image providing apparatus based on a user location method thereof are provided to enable two or more users to watch a full screen image without decreasing the resolution of the image by using an image system. CONSTITUTION: A user location acquisition unit(120) acquires the location of two or more users. A barrier adjustment unit(130) adjusts a distance between a display unit and a barrier screen, the size of a barrier slot, or the movement of the barrier slot based on the user location. An image creation unit(140) creates the adjusted image through the adjusted barrier. An image output unit(160) outputs the created image.
