PURPOSE: A molten steel flow block and a tundish using the same for continuous casting are provided to prevent molten metal in a tundish from being rapidly discharged to an outlet without staying in the tundish. CONSTITUTION: A molten steel flow block(120a,120b) comprises a block body(121a,121b) and a flow path(123a,123b). The block body is installed in a dam(110a,110b) of the tundish and allowed to replace. The flow path is formed through the block body to allow molten steel to flow. The flow path has an inlet and an outlet formed on both sides of the block body, respectively. The flow path is declined from the inlet to the outlet.
