SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SMART CARD OPERATION

PURPOSE: A smart card operating system and method thereof are provided to reduce voltages consumption rates of smart cards and terminals by including a smart card which selectively provides voltages to application chips. CONSTITUTION: An application chips(210) is packaged on a smart card in order to provide services. A terminal interlocking unit(220) receives voltages from a terminal through an interface for interlocking with the terminal. A state sensing unit(230) determines established conditions according to users by periodically sensing current states. An operating control unit(240) selectively operates the packaged application chips according to the established conditions. The operating control unit selectively provides the voltages the packaged application chip according to the established condition.
