PURPOSE: A parking guidance system and a parking guidance method using the same are provided to guide a vehicle to an available parking region by monitoring an occupation state of each parking region. CONSTITUTION: An entry vehicle license number recognition camera part(10) detects an image of a vehicle for recognizing a license plate number. A plurality of parked vehicle recognition camera parts(30) recognizes the license plate number of an entering vehicle. An exit vehicle license number recognition camera part(20) recognizes the license plate number of an outgoing vehicle. A controller(50) stores or renews a monitoring part. The controller stores or renews the license plate number in a database. A plurality of display parts(40) displays an occupation state of a parking region. The monitoring part(70) monitors the number of parking regions, the number of vehicles, the number of unoccupied parking regions, and parked vehicle license numbers. |
