PURPOSE: An IMS(Integrated Memory System) interlocking with a smart key and an IMS driving method using the same are provided to automatically implement movement of an IMS associated device to a recorded position when a user carrying a FOB sits on a driver seat without operating a button. CONSTITUTION: An IMS interlocking with a smart key comprises a motor(40,42), a cluster(20), a smart key(30), and an IMS control unit(10). The motor moves an IMS associated device. A driver inputs a position recording command for the IMS associated device in the cluster. The smart key recognizes a FOB(32) carried by the driver and transmits a FOB ID to the IMS control unit. The IMS control unit stores the position information of the IMS associated device and the FOB ID in a memory when the driver inputs the position recording command and drives the motor according to the position information of the IMS associated device corresponding to the FOB ID stored in the memory when the FOB ID is received from the FOB of the driver. |
