PURPOSE: A tractor for launching a ship is provided to prevent the collision between a ship and the inner wall of a dock by holding a ship using a rope when the ship moves in the dock. CONSTITUTION: A tractor for launching a ship holds a ship using rope in order to prevent the collision between a ship and the inner wall of a dock when the ship moves in the dock. A body moves along a rail(6) in parallel with right and left side of the dock. A rope connecting part is installed outside the body and connects with the ship using rope. A connection canceling part is installed at the body to cancel the connection of the rope and rope connecting part.
