PURPOSE: An optical filter for a stereoscopic image display device and a stereoscopic image display device including the same are provided to have an excellent optical property because a liquid crystal layer is not mixed by easily controlling a pattern width and a thickness of a liquid crystal layer. CONSTITUTION: An optical filter for a stereoscopic image display device includes a base material(110), an alignment layer(120), and a liquid crystal layer(130). The base material is made of all kinds of plastic films like a COC(Cycloolefin Copolymer), a COP(Cycloolefin Polymer), a TAC(Triacethyl Cellulose), an acrylate film, etc having excellent light permeability. The alignment layer is formed into a predetermined pattern on the base material and forms a barrier wall portion on the edge. The liquid crystal layer is formed on the alignment layer. The liquid crystal layer generates a different phase difference depending on thickness. |
