PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recognizing a bio information measuring device are provided to supply various bit information services by interlocking with a plurality of bio information measuring devices and recognizing and processing various kinds of bio information. CONSTITUTION: A measuring device recognizing unit(1) checks whether a bio information measuring device is distinguished or not. A bio information receiving unit(2) receives bio information from the distinguishable bio information measuring device. A bio information determining unit(3) transmits the check result of the received bio information to the distinguishable bio information measuring device. A bio information control unit(4) transmits information for dealing with an abnormal state to the distinguishable bio information measuring device. A bio information storing unit(5) stores the bio information received by the bio information determining unit.
