PURPOSE: A cleaning agent for improving efficiency of a combustion engine is provided to maximize efficiency of a combustion engine by enhancing detergency and output of a turbine. CONSTITUTION: A cleaning agent for improving efficiency of a combustion engine comprises: at least one kind of ethanolamine selected from monoethanol amine, diethanol amine and triethanolamine; and hydrogen peroxide. The cleaning agent further includes at least one kind of additive. The additive is selected from at least one kind of polyhydric alcohol selected from ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, diethylene glycol, butyl glycol, neopentyl glycol, glycerine, trimethylolethane and trimethylolpropane; glyceride as an ester compound of fatty acid and glycerine; glycerinaldehyde; and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.
