PAPERBOARD WITH INCREASED BULK COMPRISING PALM FROND POWDER, AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a paperboard with increased bulk containing palm leaf powder is provided to increase the bulk of the paperboard by enhancing the interval between the fibers and to reduce production cost. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a paperboard with increased bulk containing palm leaf powder comprises: a step of dipping pulp in water and dissociating; a step of adding palm leaf powder and retention agent to prepare wet paper; and a step of pressing, dehydrating, and drying the wet paper. The paper contains 1-10 wt% of palm leaf powder and 0.01-0.5 wt% of retention agent.
