FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: dehydrator includes drum with perforated shell, which can rotate, inside which granulated slag transportation elements are mounted, slag-water pulp supply device and inclined gravity-flowing chute. Elements for transportation of granulated slag to chute are made in the form of sector boxes formed by means of radial walls installed between end walls of drum throughout the height of its annular cavity. Dehydrator is provided with a gate for closing open box openings on the drum centre side. Gate is mounted so that is adjoins upper edge of gravity-flowing chute on the side of box lifting. ^ EFFECT: increasing filtration speed of residual water, reducing the wear of dehydrator parts contacting abrasive particles of granulated slag, and simplifying the design. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
