FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: fastener includes a clamp and pin element having elongated pin body. Enlarged head on one end of pin is connected to one side of parts. Grooved section of pin projects beyond opposite side of parts. Clamp includes body section adapted for crimping in locking grooves of pin in response to relative axial crimping load applied with mounting element. In one system aspect the clamp is strengthened and does not require any heat treatment, thus providing optimum combination of reduced thickness of clamp body wall and increased rigidity, which minimises crimping load. Also, shape of thread with weak crimping load is provided for locking grooves of pin, and also, reduced diameter, relatively small elongation of tightening pin section, improvement of mounting tool and the corresponding application method is described. ^ EFFECT: providing high strength of fastener at reduction of crimping load. ^ 16 cl, 13 dwg |
