APPARATUS FOR TREATING LAUNDRY

PURPOSE: A laundry treating machine is provided to form a portion of a coupling unit formed on a drum by a seaming unit, thereby increasing coupling strength of the coupling unit. CONSTITUTION: A rotatable drum(110) receives laundry. A frontal par or a rear part of the drum is opened. One edge and the other edge of a metal panel are coupled with a coupling unit. The coupling unit is formed in the drum. The drum has a noncircular looped-curve cross section. Panels(111,112) are installed on front or rear sides of the drum. A coupling unit includes a seaming unit and a welding unit.
