ULTRASOUND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENHANCING QUALITY OF ULTRASOUND SPATIAL COMPOUND IMAGE BASED ON BEAM PROFILE

PURPOSE: An ultrasound system and method are provided to offer an ultrasonic wave space composite video corresponding to original form and size of an object by recompensing blurring due to the spreading of an ultrasonic beam based on a beam profile. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic wave data acquisition part(110) obtains ultrasonic data by receiving an ultrasonic echo signal. A storing part(120) stores a beam profile which shows extent of an ultrasonic beam according to depth based on a focusing point. A processor(130) is connected to the ultrasonic wave data acquisition part and the storing part. The processor forms an ultrasonic wave space composite video by recompensing blurring due to the spreading of the ultrasonic beam. A display part indicates the ultrasonic wave space composite video formed in the processor.
