An organic EL display panel (1) comprising a p-type driving transistor (22) in which a gate is connected to a capacitor (24) and a drain is connected to an organic EL element (25), an n-type driving transistor (23) in which the gate is connected to the capacitor (24) and a source is connected to the organic EL element (25), a first power line (14) which applies a first voltage to the p-type driving transistor (22), and a second power line (13) which applies a second voltage that is higher than the first voltage to the n-type driving transistor, wherein the p-type driving transistor (22) has such a characteristic property that a first gate voltage value corresponding to a predetermined current value in the current-voltage property of the organic EL element (25) becomes the lowest voltage in the data voltage and the n-type driving transistor (23) has such a characteristic property that a second gate voltage value corresponding to a predetermined current value is higher than a third gate voltage value corresponding to the lowest current value of the organic EL element (25).
