PURPOSE: A method for processing basalt using a sand blast device is provided to preserve the texture of the basalt and to form landscaping rocks by implementing a sand blasting operation with respect to the external side of waste basalt. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing basalt using a sand blast device includes the following: Waste basalt is collected(S10). The collected waste basalt is shaped into landscaping rocks using a shaping unit(S20). The external side of the shaped basalt is sand blasted using the sand blast device spraying an abrasive material and compressed air(S30). The sand blasted basalt is washed using a compressed sprayer and is dried(S40). Glaze is further coated on the dried basalt, and a sintering process is implemented to form a glaze layer on the external side of the basalt.
