A waterproof construction method for a heat storage tank is provided to prevent deterioration of waterproof and insulation due to a pinhole formed on the surface of a waterproof material, causing leakage and dewing of the storage tank. A waterproof construction method for a heat storage tank comprises the steps of: forming an adjusting layer by flattening the inner wall and bottom of a concrete structure(20a) forming the storage tank; coating a primer on the base adjusting layer and coating an urethane waterproof material; depositing an urethane foam(23) as an insulating material on the base adjusting layer; coating an urethane waterproof material(24) on the urethane foam; attaching an interior film(25) on the urethane waterproof material; and coating a polyurea(26) as a final waterproof material on the interior film.
