The imaging apparatus for endoscopes comprises: an image sensor unit provided with an image sensor inside the leading end of the endoscope-inserting part; a lens unit provided with a mobile lens that configures an objective optical system that forms an optical image on the imaging surface of the image sensor and moves to a first observation position and a second observation position; and an endoscope actuator device. The endoscope actuator is configured by being provided with: a first elastic component having an impelling force that places the mobile lens frame, in which the mobile lens of the lens unit is disposed, at the first observation position; a second elastic component that has a larger impelling force than the impelling force of the first elastic component and places the mobile lens frame at the second observation position; and a shape memory alloy wire that has the characteristic of expanding or contracting with changes in temperature resulting from current applied from an external power source via an electric cable and when extended, is in a non-tensioned state and when contracted, shortens and maintains the second elastic component in a predetermined state. On the leading end of the shape memory alloy wire of the endoscope actuator device, a driving force-transmitting wire of a length sufficient for separation from heat-generating bodies such as the image sensor, etc. is provided and the base end of the driving force-transmitting wire and the leading end of the shape memory alloy wire are unified. |
