PURPOSE: An agent for treating wastewater from food waste and a method for treating the wastewater from the food waste using the same are provided to enhance the pin floc of solid materials from food waste formed in a coagulating bath by supplying floc enhancer. CONSTITUTION: An agent for treating wastewater from food waste is an agent for enhancing pin floc. The agent is composed of 40-60 weight% of sodium silicate represented by chemical formula 1, 20-40 weight% of poly(diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride) represented by chemical formula 2, 0.5-2 weight% of polyamine represented by chemical formula 3, and 10-20 weight% of water. In chemical formula 1, n is between 2 and 4; and X is between 1 and 5. In chemical formula 2, n is between 100 and 10,000. In chemical formula 3, n is between 100 and 10, 000. |
