<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide an assist cart which can be operated in the same way as a manual transportation cart is operated. An assist cart (10) is provided with: an operation force detection unit (13) which detects operation force having a positive value when a handlebar (11) is moved forward from a neutral position and detects the operation force having a negative value when the handlebar is moved backward from the neutral position; a motor (14) which drives a travel wheel (18); a speed sensor (15) which detects a travel speed; a target speed generation unit (16) which generates a target speed on the basis of the operation force and the travel speed; and a motor control unit (17) which controls the motor (14) on the basis of the target speed transmitted from the target speed generation unit (16), and has a configuration in which in a forward movement, the target speed generation unit (16) generates the target speed faster than the travel speed when the operation force detected by the operation force detection unit (13) has the positive value, and generates the target speed slower than the travel speed when the operation force detected by the operation force detection unit (13) has the negative value.</p> |
