A method, device and terminal for filtering a measurement result are provided in the present invention. The method includes that: a terminal obtains a filtering factor from a network side (101); the terminal selects a scaling factor according to its own operating speed (102); and the terminal filters a measurement result according to the filtering factor and the selected scaling factor (103). Use of the method, device and terminal in the present invention can expedite the measurement result reporting and switching of a moderate-speed User Equipment (UE) and a high-speed UE, and avoid dropped calls.
